Rifling twist rate for 24" was created by faawrenchbndr
Anyone know what the twist rate is/was on the 24" AT10-T barrel?
1:11.25?

Got the info from an Armalite rep,

Our newer 1:10 twist AR-10 SST barrels should be marked 1:10 on the front, top of the barrel.
All of our SST AR-10 barrel twists changed from 1:11.25 to 1:10 in January 2011.

My AR10-T has the 24" SST barrel. The ONLY marking I can find is
at 12 o'clock near the receiver. It is 1 05/08

Assume manufacture date is May 2008,......but what does the 1 mean?

Manufacturers put all sorts of obscure marks on their products. I'm guessing it's a supplier code or batch number. Or maybe you've got the very first 24" SST barrel to come off the line ;)

Got an e-mail from an Armalite Tech

The 1 means the barrel manufacturer was Wilson
The 05/08 is the manufacture date
