Let me guess, it is a return of gun herpes. It has to be put in isolation for ten to twelve months except for trips to the range for a diagnostic checkup. Right MRraley?

My last trip to the range wasn't what I expected and I don't think this scope is really doing my rifle justice. Just a new scope, maybe something in the $750.00 range will do it but then I PROMISE, that'll be it and I'll be done...

Wow, for some reason, I can't seem to settle into the eye relief very well with this darn factory stock.....

Welcome aboard AGAIN Magi... Hope you have your wallet ready. Fine lookin piece Sir... :twothumbs:

Your a prophet Sharkey.... I need a little check piece and something like a Leupold VX-R 1 to 4 or some both eyes open deal... It would be nice to put a light or laser on it too......

What makes you think you need "a little cheek piece?"

See this is why they call these things "Barbies" for men...

You can dress them up almost any way you like, and that is what makes it yours.

Well I notice on my SASS...... that i have the cheek piece elevated about a quarter of an inch... I'm thinking of using the same one piece Armalite scope mount on the carbine... But I'll wait and see before I do that........

What scope are you planning on using? With the right mount or set of rings, you should not need any cheek riser.

Wrencher has a point there. I needed one because I have the fixed carry handles on mine but if you have a flat top, it would probably be a simple matter of finding just the right rings.

Of course, if you have a head shaped like an old steel 5 gallon diesel can, you might not even need one with the carry handle so ya know, it's a try it out first kinda thing...
