BMS you're right, we must stay on topic and that was good old Ted, funny thing, I didn't know that much about the guy but in this computer age you can run but you can't hide, all sorts of stuff about Ted out there. Seems Ted decided he had better things to do during the Vietnam war, so the camo outfits must be from his hunting persona because it sure wasn't military inspired,he obtained a students deferment for 67and 68 to attend Oakland community college in michigan, we must assume he wasn't pre-med because he also started touring with his band the Amboy Dukes, time line biographies state from 200 to 300 performances for those years so what ever Ted was doing , it sure wasn't hitting the books. Ted finally admitted this deferment when asked about an interview he did for Hightime magazine in 1977 in which he described how he beat the draft by going to the selective service interviews in jeans soaked with urine and underwear coated with feces, unshaven and unwashed for a week. Ted admitted he made it up and to the deferment. Shall we discuss his children out of wedlock?

Wow...you really dug it up on the Nuge...I didn't know all that...I guess I never bothered to look. No Matter..If he had gone..We probably wouldn't have Cat Scratch Fever...
Do I agree with what he did...Not really...I had alot of Nam Vet Friends..Most are Dead Now...it was a BS war and we shouldn't have been there in the first place.
I was a Child during that time and only go by the History Books...(BS)...and the accounts of friends that were there...but I leaned alot about what happened and some things they DON'T TEACH YOU IN SCHOOL...So I am blessed to have learned from those Men...
My point in posting this was the Views that he presents NOW....We all have made our own mistakes in life and NO ONE is perfect...
As the saying goes..when you get Older..Wisdom Takes Hold..and Regret for Past Actions...I myself sometimes feel this...
But to the Point...
His OPINION is that of Every WORKING MAN AND WOMAN in the US...Our Government is out of control...Criminals Have more rights than the Law Abiding Citizens...
And those on Welfare live the GOOD LIFE...were we the WORKING MAN pay to support them...(be careful my friend) I am the WORKING MAN and have been all my life..
Many Years in the Construction Trade..and Reduced to working Retail...to Make an HONEST Living...for the Mega Corp who sells to those who Freeload off our Hard Work and Taxes...
What He did, He Did....maybe he is trying to make a miens...for his actions..
by supporting Our 2nd Amendment Rights and being the Voice of Reason...to the Current Situation...
I myself am a (SOMEWHAT) Educated man...and a Worker to boot...So I know and feel what he is talking about....Do You....
We all make our Mistakes in Life and have to live with it the rest of our days...
How we make up for those MISTAKES...is Key to our place in the world and In The Eyes Of GOD...
God Bless America....and may we pull our Heads our of Our ARSSes and get with the Fraken Program before someone Kick our ARSS....

Good Job BMS,You have a real good way with words and a good edumacation too.
Yes the mistakes I`ve made in My life time are,some of them,quit autrocious and wish I could forget them but I can not so I must use those mistakes to My advantage so that I can hopefully not go through those same mistakes again,Making My amends for the mistakes of My past is the best I can do,nothing more,nothing less.
And like You,I agree that if someone does`nt take over this great nation real sooon that there will be nothing left but a heap of rubble.

I like Ted that Great White Buffalo song is still one of my favorites. He bought some land in my neck of the woods and a couple people I know who work at the Bow hunters superstore said Ted was in looking around. I hope I get to meet him some day.
