Wowzah Man, You`re getting right after it there.
No concrete pouring in a flood zone is what the gubment says,
So, I live in a flood zone, actually, with the last zoning map, they put Mine propity right into the dadgumm river channel.
And so, I had this remodelk job planned, I trenched over four foot deep and about 18" wide, laid in five runs of reebar and tied into the existing foundation under the main/old part of the house, I cut a hole through the wall of an addition that was going to come off, about three foot outside of that wall, I laid 2X4s on edge to get the heighth I was going to need and that was the form, had the concrete people back nto the yard and pour it full, using the dirt of the trench for the outside form.
I had already gutted the inside of the hose, had the roofing on 1/2 of the house supported with 2X4s on end, here and there.
On a Memorial Saturday, I had a dump truck right there, sawed the roof into pieces with an old skill saw, rolled them into the box, sawed the walls down into sections, used the backhoe and laid those pieces into the back yard, stripped out them walls and had the new walls built, sheeted and the roof on that 1/2 of the house before the "Building inspector caught up wit MEEEEE. ANNNdddd that is when the fight started. He threatened to throw Me in jail, I held out Mine arms and told Him, Lets go, ooooh boy was He ever mad. :busted: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
