I followed the link and read thru the thread and entered with the same view I generally have...gonna be a bunch of BS. I have a background as a test engineer among other things. Most of the home brew tests are not worth reading much past the first post. More often than not the guy wants to push his fave so the test reflect his bias.

In this case I was impressed by the efforts and degree of documentation. I did not detect any real bias and I would say its not the end all be all defintive test, but I suspect his results would closely parallel lab testing. I give him a thumbs up.

Worth your time to read thru...

Try this,......it is my take on Ed's Red

Lizard Snot
-8 parts Mobil 1
-4 part Synthetic part ATF
-2 part Kroil
-2 part Marvel Mystery Oil
-1 part STP

A "part" can be a quart, ounce, a shot glass, or a thimble.
