That beam is one beautiful piece of wood. I have a 25 foot 12"x12" Norway pine post acts as the center support holding up my roof. Piecess of wood like those two really add character to a house.

That is some mighty beautiful work, as stated, lots of nice wood exposed is good.
Sisco`s looks real good too. I like that.
Guess I`ll have to take a couple of pics. of how I put Mine house together, a vaulted ceiling, making an attic on the south side of the house, lower roof on the north side, gives a nice wall for the prevailing winds to slam into and slow them down. :busted: :rotfl:
Weather`s suppose to be in the mid to high nineties for about a week, do`nt know if there`ll be any relief in sight after that. No rain in the mix so the wifey`ll be dragging the hoses around for a few days. :whip: :rotfl:
One of My scooter trash friends, on vacation, called and asked if I could go to His house { one block away } and mow down His front yard, so when He gets home He can just park His 5th weel camper without having to mow under it first.
I`ll go geter done while it is still cool.
Try an be back later.
I feel for them folks over in Washington State.
Today, the smoke come rolling in, it must be getting real bad over there.
Very hazy from the smoke over here, temps was suppose to be in the mid 90s today, at five oclock, it is now 83* at 5:18, suns not getting through it is so thick.
Now 72, high to 93. the smoke has cleared somewhat.
Fox News, showing where the fires are. Washington, Oregon, Idaho and western Montana.
Yesterday, the smoke was so thick that, I thought the fire was going to come right over the cliffs of the Yellowstone river.
I should be getting industrious, but, just feeling too laid back to do anything. stinking pills. :banghead: :whip: :cowboy:
