Spent the last two mornings shooting in the rain at 40 degrees, still felt great to be back on a range again :twothumbs:
The range here in Ashe county N.C. is the first one I've been to in years that allowed me to practice transitions from rifle to pistol. If someone would have been watching from the woods they would have thought I was on some kind of downer I was moving so slow. :side:
Time to go dry out all the gear............
Reviving another old thread.
Summer is here I am afraid, ice is all gone, lawn is green, getting the "OLD" sprinkler system restored and running. Still have a funny pipe to repair but it now is working, almost as it should.
A friend gave Me a half horse pump, just not quite enough pressure to make it all work as it should. Parts are ordered for the one horse and also the 3/4 horse pump. That one horse makes those pop~ups pop up, almost explode. :twothumbs: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
Okay, now for the weather.

I'm loving this North Carolina mountain weather. We are in a heat wave now with mid 80" for the next several days but the humidity is low so it doesn't seem anything near those 90+ Iowa summer days I'm used to and beats a summer in Mississippi by a long shot. :twothumbs:
Nice day here, temps must now be in the mid 60s. Forgot the smartypants phone in the house so no screen shot today.
overhauled the rear differential in the sons 2001 Dodge Ram. A positrac affair, never been into one of those before, a real learning experience, but I know now how to do those things.
