You are a very fortunate Man, to not have had any nerve damage.
I`m`a praying I do`nt tooooh. :rotfl:
I know I got some in My head but that`s beside the point. :banghead: :cowboy:
My last one, the L5 is bothering me after I cut and hauled wood for three days this week. Have to lay off for a while. The nerve damage in my brain? That is the wife's problem, not mine.

That's the problem with most Doctors around here if they can't see anything with all the x-rays, MRI's blood work and such it's in you head. Went ahead after all the testing and had outpatient surgery twice burned the nerves 9 places both sides, 38g's latter and about 6 weeks with some relief then back to 24-7 pain. I've seen specialist ranging from 7 doctors 3 chiropactoers 2 rehab places and the local witch doctor. The best answer they all can come up with is you must just be getting old and have a bad back :rotfl: Suffering now for 4years waiting for new technologies to catch up. All I know is back pain is living HELL on earth
Hang tough Marty !!!
I've been a roofing contractor for 27 years now,, bad back,, did someone say bad back,, lmao ,,
painkillers,, used them all,, I stick with Sombra pain gel ,, and ibup.
One thing I did find that helped me a bunch was one of those inversion chairs,, you know
lay down and roll upside down ,,
truly amazing how much better the lower back feels,,
for what it's worth
good luck brother and GOD bless
I suppose a roofing contractor`d not know much about back pains and such. :rotfl:
I have heard some about them inversion devices and now, hearing it from You, I`ll definitely be checking into one of those.
I`m a hoping and a praying that when they get done with this surgery, it`ll be as good as new, and, without any pain. :whip: :rotfl: :rotfl:
I pray too that somehow, You guys suffering with bad backs can find some relief too.
Not been in much lately.
Just too much pain to try and sit, so, My days is spent laying down. I told the wifey, if that surgery does`nt hurry up and get here, I`ll be having bed sores. :banghead: :busted: :rotfl:
A little over a week to go, until then, You guys behave, OK, OK. :rotfl:
I will try and get back in when I can.
I thank You all for the surgery working out and getting pain free prayers and hopes.
I have a good feeling about this and I believe the Lord will be watching out for My best interests.
I do know there will be a long and slow recovery period with a lot of Physical Therapy involved.
My hopes is that I will be able to load down with a 75 pound back pack and be able to hike and climb and be pretty much pain free.
I do think there is going to be some nerve damage that will ride with Me for the rest of My life, but, I also feel that if I have a small amount of pain, it will be my warning to not over doooit. :whip: :rotfl:
The car has not been started in four or five months, the battery is completely dead from all of the stuff it has to remember, I got the battery charger on it now. As soon as I seen it had started taking a charge I switched the charger to 2 amp mode, it has until Monday morning to gain a good deep charge and I am hoping that the battery will hold up for this journey of 300 miles. The car is an 07 and I have not put a new battery in it, seven years out of an original equipment battery is dang good, I think, but then, it is a Delco and a Delco is what will replace it too. Origginal equipments the best.
