TrackingPoint's 300 BLK Precision Guided Firearm

The TP AR 300 BLK is the longest range semi-auto Precision Guided Firearm (PGF) available today. It offers all the features of Precision Guided Firearms in the AR Platform, and is the most accurate semi-automatic rifle on the market today.

TrackingPoint's TP AR 300 BLK features the unique 300 AAC Blackout caliber, which was originally designed to give the shooter a 30 caliber projectile which could be fired out of the AR platform without an increase in magazine size while still utilizing a standard bolt. The 300 AAC Blackout is 7.62x35mm, which gives the shooter similar ballistic qualities as the .308 and the 7.62x39mm, the AK round, without having to give up the lightweight 5.56mm/AR platform. The 300 AAC Blackout can still utilize standard AR magazines without a reduction in magazine capacity. Unlike the 7.62x39mm, the 300 AAC Blackout cartridge is still light on the shoulder with similar recoil to the 5.56mm.

The TP AR300 BLK delivers Tag Track Xact (TTX) to 500 yards and it features parallax free zoom in 2-12x.

The networked tracking scope streams video to Android and iOS smart phones and tablets. Wind speed is the only data you’ll manually input to the scope, using a toggle button.

The TP AR 300 uses 120gr. Barnes MatchBurner and 120gr Barnes TAC-TX XactShot ammunition by Barnes®, loaded to +/- 25 fps standard deviation muzzle velocity.

I thought the same thing Sisco. To be candid I feel there is some smoke on the water here. Not sure what they are selling, the scope, the gun or? And I say that in context of what makes the the end all be all.

My buddy talked with them and it was about $10,000 on the table

I do not see the need for this on a 300 BLK.

Would be better in 300 RSAUM.

Or the "338 SSM (Super Short Magnum)" I'm tinkering with.

Their XS-1 model in 338 Lapua would work. Bolt action, however.

I'm waiting for fire and forget bullets where you lock on to the target and shoot in the general direction and the bullet threads the needle.

Interestingly I just saw on the TV guide a show called "Almost Human" had something to do with a murder committed with a self-guided bullet.
