Picked up a Shemagh while I was in israel. Got back home and it was cold, wore it, WOW, never knew how well this thing works to keep you warm. Great idea, you ought to have one, in fact more than one, I have 7.
The Shemagh is nothing but thin cotton, its generally large around 44x44 in and you wrap it around your neck. What it does is keep the warm air inside your shirt rather than the billowing effect when move and IT WORKS! I love anything that is cheap and work as intended and it does.
BONUS: Not sure why but I get more compliments on this from men and women, even had a guy try to buy the one I had one. Guy offered my $20, then $25 and I told him to go to e bay or Amazon and as he walked away he was looking it up on his fone.
They are great.... I've been using them for many years...... Got a bunch of them... Always keep one on my bike and in the car..... I've got half my friends wearing and I make all my GI buddies bring me some back from Indian country........
