When I was in Vietnam the Red Cross came out and was giving out books in such and we got a Monopoly game to replace the one we had. Well the one we had was in rough shape, missing pieces, got wet etc. The new one had different looking money.
We were set up at Twin Bridges LZ on the Bong Song river. On the other side of the river was a small village, but big enough to have some Coke vendors, massage hut and a few other things. So one day shortly after we got the new funny money we go over to the village and tell the the MPC has been changed and we will buy what they have. Well we had a great time and picked up some REAL cash in the process...the Monopoly game was now worthless since we spent all the money but it was worth it...

If you don't the humor then you will slowly go insane and end up with drool dripping from your mouth as you babble about how hard things were and spiral down into depression...I have seen it too many times.
