It is interesting how a little research can change your mind. Now I find myself wanting a Marlin 39a. Not a new one - but an older one in good shape. Now that I know what I want - let the search begin. No need to hurry. Just keep my eyes and ears open.
Thanks guys! I've been watching them on GB for a few days to get a feel for what they are going for. I'm in no hurry. I am also keeping my eyes open locally. Sometimes I enjoy the hunt as much as the find -lol.
I'd almost a bet you could find a local trade cheaper than Gun-broker. It kind of surprised me when I saw the asking prices, who says guns aren't a good investment? Good luck and enjoy the hunt! :usa:
