He is doing it again! Our "post racial" president has his administration engaged in a study of housing based on race.
From a story on Fox News this morning comes news that HUD plans on "mapping" all the housing in the country by race with the idea of withholding federal funds to those towns that do not have the "proper" mix.
I have worked in my share of towns that have issues with this, Clarendon Texas as an example. They had nice paved roads on one side of town and across the tracks the roads were gravel or poorly maintained blacktop. One side of town has a nice park, the other side had the park removed and replaced with a sewage treatment facility. You guess what race lived where. There were many stores with "closed Shop" signs on the doors. Knowing this I understand there are issues but......
Is this the job of the federal government? I say no! This is social engineering gone crazy and way to much power for a federal government that has proven itself inept at best.
How they think withholding federal funds will help those they are concerned about is beyond me. It will do nothing but hurt the ones they are claiming to help. Who are they to tell us where to live and who to live with. I saw no fences or guards keeping these neighborhoods separated. Yes there is institutional racism at play here but can federal intervention do anything but exacerbate the problem, again I say no.
Everyone should demand that their representatives in congress take action to stop this unconstitutional power grab. They already have the information, it's called the Census. No studies needed and no additional power should be granted. This is a state issue alone and a page right out of Stalin and Mao's playbook, nothing but bad things can come from this continuation of the administrations attempt to centralize power. I'm sure Marx and Engels would applaud the president on this but then how successful have their ideas been throughout history, very successful if the goal is death and misery!
This story came from Stuart Varney on Fox and friends this morning. I could find no further info on the internet, I can only hope they are off base, for everyones sake! This "post racial" president continues to try and divide us by race while proclaiming nothing but good intentions.
I've already fired off emails to my reps, hope you will all do the same! Tell your friends and family to do the same, we must try to brunt this assault on states rights. Only we as a community can solve these issues, no amount of intervention on governments part can make you care for your neighbor.
:soapbox: stepping off now........
The govt has a program in place that identifies neighborhoods that do not have the PROPER mix of diversity. So what the govt has been doing is to take minorities out of high minority density areas, pack them up and move them to low density areas. As you can imagine the COST on this is staggering. The people to be moved are paid to move, all costs are picked up, they are then provided a home and utilities.
What this new program does is to map all neighborhoods in the US and now the Feds will tell the states to pay for the diversity moves. The cost on this will exceed a TRILLION, it is a complete redistribution of our population. Bear in mind those included in this program will be RACE, SEXUAL ORIENTATION, RELIGION (Think Muslim) and anyone else the govt can declare a minority.
This a KEY tenet of the UN Agenda 21 which is being implemented across the US...
The state governor's need to tell the feds to pack sand on this. The senators need to balk at funding anything along these lines. This could easily turn into some giant 20 year program.
