Polymer 80, welcome to the forum :welcome: . Question: with the proprietary parts and lack of interchangeability among 308 AR's, what one will you be using as a template or model for your 308 lower receiver?

Thanks for the welcome!
We thought about that A LOT! And we landed on the AR10 (the true AR10) because ultimately its a better design to made from polymer. that being said... we may do a DPMS version later as we will be coming out with new products at a pretty fast pace. Here is our concept sketch of the AR10:

Poly 1911s already exist, SVI/STI, Wilson and RRA all offer them. Would you consider a double stack using para-ord mags as that is not available on the market at this time?
Question: Does the difference in recoil impulse between the .308 and the .223 warrant any extra reinforcement? I'm thinking specifically about the pivot pin.

On the AR10, the thickness of the wall is pretty large and we don't think it will need much reinforcing with our polymer but we did add ribs throughout. This will increase the over all rigidity of the lower.
If you guys can make a AR10 poly lower fit a RRA LAR8, I would buy one especially if it a earth brown coyote dark whateveryoucallit color. I'd pay extra for that.
Welcome Polymer 80! Glad you found us on our little forum. Thank you for answering all these questions, it's made it very hard to talk myself out of spending the money.
I'll have to see what my budget looks like on the 1st. I want to get in on the discount while I can.

I like that AR-10 lower.
Quite a bit of METAL in an STI and RRA 1911-style frame.
Really can not compare these, you are comparing apples to cucumbers!
