Got some of the pics my wife took at the NRA show. Now me, will I just hung out some one of our forum members and down on the convention floor with the vendors, but I did get to go to one event my wife was invited to.

So there we are sitting at a table with 3 other folks all eating some good BBQ. About the time we finish up and launch into some dessert someone gets up on the podium and announces they are going to honor some folks. They call out 3 names and those 3 are the folks at our table. Well they come up and are given some kind of parchment paper and the guy reads out the following: 'The NRA wishes to recognize Ziggy Belcher, Joe D Ragman and FastEddie Moneybags for their generous donation this year of $1 MILLION bucks.' Well you could knock me over with a feather, I mean each one of these guys dropped a $1M coin on the NRA...'bout that time I was praying they would not call my name 'cause that was a check that would bounce like a room full of NBA players.

Got to say, just spent most of the day with these 3 folks and they were some nice people.

1) Me and FastEddie Moneybags and his wife at the rodeo event

2) My wife at the rodeo event practicing her roping skills

3) Wayne Lapierre and his wife Susan at his back left (who my wife is friends with) at a invite only event (you might notice I am not there)

4) Sean Hannity giving a talk about the 2nd amendment (again you might notice I am not there either, thats OK, been kicked out of better events :cowboy: )

Thanks for sharing. Glad you got to go to such an awesome event. I know what you're taking about when it comes to being around people who can buy you 1000x over.

One night I'm smoking cigars with some guys at my wife's friend's house. Of the four of us there I was the only one who didn't have more than one aircraft. They are trying to decide which jet to take golfing and I'm thinking I'd need a 2nd mortgage to pay the alcohol tab you guys will drink on the flight there.

I can they were all great folks, everyday gun and hunters, one of the guys is into sporting clays. Its great we have folks that are willing and feel that strongly about the 2nd Amend.

When I lived in Dallas I was a member of the Dallas Safari Club. Sitting at the table one eve after dinner just me and one guy shooting the breeze, we get to talking about hunting Africa. I ask him how often he hunts there....I fell out of my chair, he hunts on the average once a month. The advantages of having your own Gulfstream I guess.
