Both the wife and I had a day off from work yesterday, so we threw the top down on the car and took off to Oklahoma City, where we picked up Route 66 and drove west. We stopped at Clinton, OK and toured the Route 66 Museum there and then continued to drive west to Elk City where there's another 66 Museum as well as 4 others devoted to various parts of frontier life.
It was in the low 80's I am thinking yesterday...Hard hot work for me as when I am not on the tractor I am hand loading the rocks from the walls and patio that had to be torn out to expand it (about double the size). So I have having to dig out a lot of dirt as the patio sets below ground level by about 18 in. Lot to flatten and move, be another busy day today...
