What are the procedures you use in doing an install?
Loctite, Bore lapping and such?
The first thing I did with the ADM was adjust the tension on the QD locks. It's a pretty easy procedure and the instructions that came with the mount in that respect were very clear and concise.
I had good contact between the scope and the mount's rings so I didn't feel the need to lap them.
I put the scope into the mount and lightly tightened the screws. Then adjusted the scope til it was level. I pulled out the screws one at a time, loctited them (Loctite was included with the mount, which I thought was a nice touch.) then tightened the screws down all the way. Easy peasy.
I had originally ordered a Rock River Arms rifle, so I ordered a RRA one piece mount while waiting for my rifle. It is a clone of the Armalite one piece mount. Not QD, but tight and accurate.
For my 15 HBAR, With carry handle, I have one of the old Leatherwood mounts that attaches not only through the handle, but also between the front of the receiver and the hand guard. It is tight as a drum.
