OK Guys,

We all know Lebben is probably one of our most outstanding Gun Gurus on here and has earned his stripes chewing dirt against baddies for all of us on far away beaches and sand piles from here to hell and back.

What we DON'T know is the man BEHIND the scenes, the sensitive, feeling Lebben who always says "aaawwww" when he sees kittens playing with yarn, LOVES having his face licked by puppies, picks flowers for himSELF sometimes just because he loves the pretty colors and was once probably even a stand in at his school play for the soprano singing starlet somewhere around 3rd or 4th grade...

Let's see what kind of questions we can all come up with that will help us burrow down to the REAL man. The sensitive, caring Lebben that we know is hidden deep within that rough and tough exterior that we KNOW just holds back a caring and sensitive friend to all things small and furry.

I think this is a VERY rare and special opportunity for us all to see inside the legend that is our Lebben...

Who's first??? Step right up... :laugh:






(don't worry Leb, someday when we meet face to face, I'll give ONE free shot - I'm not gonna stand there like a dummy and ALLOW it to land but no repercussions for that first swing anyway...hit or miss.. :laugh: )

For the record, I am the idiot.

And one MOA equals 1 inch (actually 1.047") at 100 yds. What kind of reticle are you using?

Dear Lebben,

Since you are a car dealer now, do you actually ride around and discuss with people how AWESOME the brand new purple Prius is that you are test driving with them or do you just think about standing in the TC hatch of a track wishing you could shoot anyone's head off that sees you in it with the 50?

If you check out Vortex's web site, they have diagrams of the substensions for each of the reticles they offer. Once you have that info, you need to find known distances and objects at those distances. Look at how much "space" the object takes up in your scope, either vertical or horizontal. This will help you estimate the range to the target when firing at unknown distances.

A good example is the Eotech circle/dot reticle. The circle is 60 MOA. At 100 yds, a 5 foot tall target (60 inches) will touch the top and bottom of the circle. At 200, the target will touch the 1 MOA dot and the bottom of the circle. And so on.

Another good example are the iron sights on the M1 and M14. The stock front sight is the width of the average human torso at 200 yds.
