Interesting, the only fight I ever had with a Marine was because he said I looked at him wrong. Now if I look at somebody wrong it's because I am trying to steal their Centrum Silver vitamins.

I've never been one to tell anyone what to think about anything, anyone, or me. All any of us truly have control over is what comes out of our own mouths or in this case, our minds and the tips of our fingers.

I have prided myself most of my life on the ability to treat people with respect until they show me that they either don't want it or don't deserve it in which case, I am always happy to provide "other services" as well.

Here on the forum, since I am a mod, it is my responsibility to respond to every issue, do my best never to take things TOO personally, and to conduct myself with respect and AIM for a generally respectful forum.

If and when boo boo feelings occur, it is my responsibility to make adjustments to maintain a more harmonious environment for all people and not just the gen-pop.

Someone was offended, exactly "who" is irrelevant. I addressed it, apologized which I have NO issues with, and we can now move forward - learning a little bit about "geographical linguistic sensitivities" along the way, and can now continue with business as usual.

All that truly matters to me is that we continue to share knowledge, information and a few laughs when we can and when issues DO arise, that everyone knows that they can bring it to me, IF it's with me, and I will utilize the EXACT same judgement, objectivity and level of respect as I do in life.

It's just words guys and it's just as easy to type something else as it would be to type something that someone finds personally upsetting - or, perhaps just doesn't LIKE me which is understandable since it took ME over 30 years to do it so how can I expect other people to in a matter of a few posts... :laugh:

Besides, I think I type out AWESOME apologies and still, ya know, don't give up my genitals or my man-card or anything doing it... :)
