What REALLY stinks is he's no game player and people who simply WON'T take part in the Washington - you scratch ours and we'll support YOU game always end up with short careers on the hill.
The real money folks, the ones who make and break presidents and finance their little popularity contests don't WANT anyone up there that might look at them one day and say - I don't CARE how much you contributed, you are wrong and I'm gonna flame your ass !!!
Those are the guys that will never allow a man like our fine General to progress any further than just a respected public figure.
We can all wish and dream though I spose...
