Thats the good news, the bad news is according to the state, we have more feral hogs here in Texas than the rest of the US combined...they are a REAL problem down here tearing thing to hell. Problem is bad you can just figure...

I was down in your area for a little while back in the early 90s a couple of times. It's nice down there depending on where you are and what you are doing...GREAT gun laws... :laugh:

Florida is the same way, we can't kill hogs faster than they breed. They even go into cities and go after pets and garbage like damn coons & opossums.
I don't have my license YET, but I can fly helos. Just need a gunner and a whole lot of gas money.

Shark, not sure what you do for a livin, but no matter, they are hiring down like crazy.

Ohhh and here is a piece of great news. The largest Shale play in the US is not far from here, just S of San Antonio.

Well there have just discovered one out in W Tex that "is Eagle Ford on Steroids!" I have friends in the business and it is HUGE, bigger than Eagle Ford and N Dakota Shale combined!!!!

I think we need to tell the feds we don't need anything they got...

I'm pretty secure where I am for the time being Cowboy. If they happen to drastically cut defense spending though, who knows. I might become a Texan after all... :)


The last time I was down there though, they (respectfully) called me "The Yankee from Hell" if that tells ya anything. :evil:
