I have got to get me one of these! How cool would it be to see what someone else is shooting at. Especially when you are training. I might even be able to shoot past that magic 1000 yard mark. Take a look at the hit rate chart!
They will certainly have to ban this!
I can see some of the advantage but if i read right your shot will only be as accurate as your original PIP shot........I guess if you don't like where the dot is you could just try again.... wonder where this tech will be in 10 years :woohoo:
Sexy...I bet I could break it in less than a minute.
Seriously, though, I wonder how often you'd have to calibrate the scope to the gun and ammo. I'm mainly thinking about barrel wear, particularly when dealing with belted magnum rounds like 300 WinMag and 338 Lap Mag.
I like that reticle, but the only issue I see is the wind meter. It probably measures wind at the GUN but not at the target. So the shooter would still have to make a sight correction for wind.
One thing I did notice is that you have to buy their ammo so that they can control that. I didn't see any specs on the barrel or other aspects of the gun. I also like the fact that they have the trigger "ease" off until you have the cross hairs lined up with the pip. That way you reduce the "flinch" some people get when pulling the trigger on a high powered gun. Some pretty neat technology here. It would make it REALLY easy for a remote controlled weapon.
