The rumors never cease about layoffs, cutbacks, outsourcing, etc.. It's something I hate about working in or near an office. Nothing but constant yapping, and if the sky isn't falling then the hens start tossing stones up in the air trying to make it so.

So, naturally, I didn't really pay any attention to this latest bout of "OMG we're all getting the axe cluck cluck cluck!!". Well no shit, they finally got it right.

Any openings for a grumpy useless bastard that doesn't move before coffee?

So I take it you are getting "ousted"? Buddy, I'd love to tell you that I've got more money than GOD (or whatever deity you subscribe to) and that I could hire like minded enthusiast to work. Morning coffee not withstanding. Unfortunately, I just able to make a enough to support me and mine and prepare for the coming zombie apocalypse.

Good luck in finding something else.

Firing off resumes already. Company website is already gone and lots of folks are spending their vacation days. I'm sticking with it until the very end.

Didn't even like the job anyway.

If you're not tied down then Texas is booming. Louisiana's not doing too bad either.

Let me know if I can do anything to help.

Thanks.
Right now the only thing tying me down is that I got myself tit deep building up a 95 bronco project...so not much relocation money, but if there is a steady pay check, I'll find a way to it.

Not sure where your located...Florida is not the place. Good Luck on the job quest.

On a side note....big Bronco fan here...also have a 95...would love to restore it...but funding is just not there right now. Just turned 210,000 on the "clock" and she's running strong.

I purely love Broncos! Been looking for a '91-'96 4X4 stick (preferably white), but so far no joy. I started out innocently enough with a '74 IH Scout, then got a B-New '88 F-250 4X4 diesel. When I wore that out I got an '03 Sport Trac 2X, but always felt naked driving it. Soon as it was paid for I snagged an FJ Cruiser 4X4 stick. One of these days I'll find that Bronco.

What needs to be restored on that? looks like all it needs is an oil change.
Funny you mention FL, that's where I got my bronco. 99% rust. Planning on doing a gofast/baja build but for now just making road worthy.
I was spending my gibill down there at FIT but the VA screwed me. That is when I got this job and bugged out to Virginia....maybe its me.

I had a good feeling about this crowd when I signed up. Big diesel nut myself, I had an 89 F350 crewcab 7.3l IDI. I absolutely loved that truck. Only down side to a bronco is that it's a 2 door. once you go 4 door, it sucks going back. The only other gripe I have, It's not diesel.

+1. My 7.3 got 20 mpg whether I was empty or hauling. In 250K miles the only maintenance (other than oil and filter) was the occasional glow plug, 2 glow plug modules, one clutch and one injector rebuild. It was hard on batteries too, but show me a diesel that isn't.

Know what you mean about 4-doors. I have a strange desire to put a crew cab body on a short chassis and weld up a 3 foot box to go behind it. My son likes the idea, but insists that we add an M2 turret in the roof B)
