Subject pretty well says it all. Interested in an upper with a shorter barrel that's NOT SBR, and curious if anyone makes a .50BMG upper for our rifle.

I doubt the AR10 upper could handle Browning .50 pressures or ejection, unless you want shoulder reconstruction surgery. Go to a Barrett. Plus how do you find a lower with that big a magazine well?

They make single shot bolt action .50 BMG uppers for AR15 lowers. Also make side well box mag fed. I was just curious if anyone knew of a similar product for the AR10.

Not aware of any 50 cal uppers for the 10. Armalite makes several good options for shorter barrel length uppers, one is a 13 1/2 inch barrel with a pinned brake to get to the 16 inch legal length.
