I've looked around, used the search and read the aftermarket trigger thread but have not found any clear answer to the question.
Will the Geissele Super Semi-Automatic Trigger for the AR-15 work in my ArmaLite AR-10 A4 without any modification or do you have to use the ArmaLite AR-10 Fire Control Springs ?
Just to be clear,I don't want a Match Trigger or any other trigger, i just want to know if i can use the Geissele Super Semi-Auto Trigger as is or do i have to change the springs.
Lightweight hammer provides a 50% reduction in lock time over factory hammer, yet uses standard weight hammer spring to ensure sufficient energy transfer for reliable primer ignition, even on AR-style .308 weapons.
Larue Tactical has geissele triggers for the ar10.
Easy to install, just follow the instructions.
i like my Geissele.
Its the best ar trigger I have ever felt...
Hello Ernie and welcome to the site. That's a good looking stick you got there. I can't speak for everyone here, but some of the more common "upgrades" are adjustable stocks, improved triggers, and railed forends.
Have one SSA installed. Had some light primer strikes on Port ball but worked fine on my match loads (Fed 210m primers). Turns out the Hammer spring was installed backwards when I add a light coat of grease to the hammer. Once I fixed my goof up the rifle sent everything I feed it down range including the Port ball. So yes it works fine just watch which direction the hammer spring is facing.
Just ordered an SSA trigger for my PM400. The description read like a good fit for my PM400. It came with a free Spikes lower parts kit, looks like I better get a lower now to "store" those extra parts in!
