I also found a glitch which prevented Google from searching and indexing the forum. This was definitely hurting search engine traffic. Almost all of the search engine traffic was landing on the homepage. After doing some hunting I found that the links were classified as 'nofollow' so search engines do not spider through them.
Hopefully over the next few weeks the search engine traffic will improve.
I still seem to be having a number of issues in Google Chrome M. I got in but then get booted when I tried to reply to anything. Went in through Explorer and leaving this real quick if I can.

Whatever "switch" you flipped seems to have brought the site out of hiding. You've attracted a great bunch of new members in the last week or so, do it again!

I agree with the above...... The other thing I noticed after my few months absentia.... The site seems a little smother and faster....
At some point in the forum upgrades the code was changed and kept google from indexing the entire forum. The other thing I noticed was 90% of the search engine traffic was getting dumped on the first page and people left after that. So they were not finding what they were looking for on the home page.
So now the forum is front and center on the home page which I hope will help with user registrations.
I hope everyone has a stress free Thanksgiving week ahead of them. Safe travels to everyone!
I just came back here after being near dead for the past 2 months and it definitely seems faster. I have to do search engine optimization for work and it is almost a black art now. I know the biggest thing that helps is having other sites link to you from theirs. If you know someone that will exchange links ( I know you do it with Lotzoutdoors and that probably helps) get them to do it. It will help them too.
