Eotech 557 with .308 BDC & flip 4x Magnifier?

Right now that's what optics I think I'd like on my rifle. Except I don't think you can get it that way. I've only seen the 308 BDC listed on the Eotech 552. Which means one would have to flip the 4x Magnifier each time they wanted to muck with the sight. As far as I know the 557 is the only Eotech with the buttons on the side.

I'm also not sure how useful the 308 BDC scope is, has anyone ever seen one in person? I haven't from heard any folks that have. Nor am I sure you could still see all of the 308 BDC ticks with the magnifier in place. Any suggestions as to where more experience with these might be found?
