Need Sling Adapter That clamps Onto Buffer Tube? was created by jtallen83
I'm trying to find a sling point adapter that will clamp on to the buffer tube. I want to position it about 3-4 inches down the buffer tube from the receiver on my PM400. My main purpose is to hold the "arm brace" in position. I've been using a duct tape wrap but with time, recoil, and heat the "brace" is pushing the tape forward and making a sticky mess. Most everything I'm finding appears to be made to fit right at the receiver.
Anyone got any ideas?
I've thought about a regular hose clamp but I'd prefer a more finished look, the duct tape got a try because it was black.....

Thanks, while checking those out on the MI site I found a HD model with the quick release so it has a cleaner profile, looks like my best option so far! :thumbs:

Those look pretty slick too! I think any of these are a better option than a hose clamp but a hose clamp would work in a pinch! :thumbs:

"Brake and Parts cleaner" removes the goo left from the ducting tape.
