Atlas Bipods was created by paulv
So I am leaning more towards the Atlas vs Harris.

Silly question but best to ask...

Before ordering, will I need to purchase any extras to mount this bipod to my ar10t ?
It has 3 models, BT10, BT10-NC, and BT10-LW17.
All mount to Picatinny rails.

So do the bipods COME WITH a mounting adapter to switch from the sling bolt that is installed on ar10t's by default ?

IF NOT, what part# would be needed to successfully install this bipod to my gun ?

Anyone own one of these ?

Is there anything better on the market ?

Thanks
~Paul

I'm suffering the "justgottahaveit" for an atlas bipod. I've only had a chance to try one for a few rounds out of a buddys rem700 and I was sold. I can't even look at my harris anymore.

As far as attaching to a sling stud, Looks like you will need to attach a small rail section. I didn't see a sling stud adapter, but I may have over looked it.

It looks like the BT33 on the accushot website is for this very purpose, but appears you may need to drill a hole or two.

Confirmed that the part needed is indeed BT33 – TUBE RAIL KIT
On the freeloat tube I got, there are many holes on the bottom so hopefully no drilling.

I ordered the tube rail kit and the bt10 today.
It may take a month til I get it but will post back with some pics :)

Thanks,
Paul

That's great! I wasn't certain what your handguard had going on underneath to accommodate bolting the adapter on. Keep us posted on how it all goes together for you.
