Call me weird, but the only HK pistol I'm at all interested in owning is the P9. Of course, I'd want mine in .45acp, but beggars can't be choosers.

I am interested in hearing how your HK45c treats you though.

They are fine handguns. My truck gun is a USP 45 and I also have a compact 45. My sons are local LE and I get trade ins for a good price. Still, my 1911's and Smith revolvers are my favorite.

I've been wanting a Vp70 since I was a kid. I don't normally 'collect' firearms, but this one I want just to have. I did get to shoot one once, and it was easy to see 2 things, who glock ripped off and why the Vp70 was never popular. Worst trigger ever at about 15lbs.

I did have a Mk23 SOCOM for a few years. That was a fine shooting pistol, but the novelty was worth more in the end. I got more than I paid for it just because it was the guys favorite pistol in some xbox game.

I was looking at a USP for a suppressor host, but I am leaning toward FNP/FNX now.
Let us know how the 45c carries, I need any excuse to not get a G.

I have a USP 45. I'm not fond of it, but my son loves it. So it stays in the arsenal.

This is my P7... I've had it since 1983...... I'm not a 9mm guy..... But this squeeze cocker is a brilliant design... Very well made.. Good looking.... Very compact... It's my little gun and I take it when space is a issue.........

So many modern hand guns are ugly to me... Being older.. I don't understand why people will pick an ugly gun when they can have a good looking gun that shoots good.... Like a glock is so butt ugly..... Maybe I'd want one if I was a frogman.... But I'm not....

I agree, that P7 is a fine looking pistol. I've always like the low profile of the slide on those.

For gun technology geeks, the P7 is really cool. I think it's the only gas delayed blow back operated pistol to ever achieve any significant measure of success. Cleaning is so vitally important to it though that I'm not sure I could manage owning one.

Were you the first owner? It's got a production code of 1980.
