Thanks,....I wanted one of these after I got home from the sand box in '91.
My plans were to eventually pass down to my Daughter. I missed her 1st word,
and 1st step while I was gone. Is a Glock a great pistol to have as an "heirloom"?
Doubtful, but there is more behind the heirloom that the particular model of pistol.

So true. I bought my preban HBAR AR15 as an heirloom to pass down to my newborn son, since the 94 ban seemed at the time to indicate he would never be able to own one otherwise. It sat new in the box despite large offers for it for 12 years. Then he got old enough to shoot it and I pulled it out along with the 1000 rounds I had loaded up for it 10 years earlier. Glad I did as we have had a lot of good times shooting together since. It is what it means to you that is valuable and important.
Nice looking pistol, by the way.
