I've got a Kimber TLE RLII that I purchased about 7 years ago. I used to shoot once a week... but you know how the story goes.

For me the 1911 is a tried and tested model that is reliable and has a huge variety of parts which is a + for me

A 1911 is like a classic muscle car,.....you have to be up for adjusting valves
and such. They are not for everyone.

I had to sell off my Springfield 1911A1 ... I sure do miss it. :(

Even my 1911A1 duty pistol was traded in for a full size XD.
