I use a conventional grip. Some would call it the combat grip. Straight thumb not a cup and saucer the thought is to get as much hand on the gun as possible. I have a pretty good grip (I think). I have been to quite a few pistol training classes at SigSauer Academy (it's only 1 1/2 hours or so away). This is the first time this has happened with any pistol. I'll pay more attention next time I shoot it just to be sure I am not limp wristing it. I was doing some magazine drills this time but not last time and it happened then too. It may be I have to adjust my grip for this pistol. Good thoughts LebbenB. I'll have to keep that in mind.

Actually, I was thinking muzzle flip instead of limp wristing. Let your support hand exert a little more downward force to control the muzzle a little better.
