Hello

Anybody have a method of holding the LAR-8 upper while removing/installing the barrel nut?

RRA was their typically helpful selves ("just send it to us...")
DPMS was unsure whether their "Panther Claw" would fit, as were RRA, thought I'd check here. Y'all seem to be a resourceful bunch!

Hello

If anybody is wondering, I think I found an answer (worked for me, anyway).

The AR-10 upper vise blocks on the SASS website do a fine job of safely anchoring the LAR-8 uppers.
I changed my barrel nut and handguard out with no issues using this setup. Seems to fit almost as though it were designed for it.

YMMV....
