I purchased it new in 2007, Igot a ACOG and have never regretted it.
Was forced to retire in 1999 after right at 23 years in the Air Force, iI still miss it, I was a Aircraft Armament Tech, I loaded weapons on Aircraft, repaired the systems.
My serves goes back from F-101, F-102, F-104, F-106, T-33, F-111A/F, A-7, British Jaquar & Tornado, F-15A-E, F-16A-D thru blk 52, Navy A-6, Canadian B-57 & F-18, German F-4g, conventional and nucs, bombs, rockets, missiles, ammo, chaff, flare.
Air force weapons came natural being I grew up around guns, loved every minute of it

When my father worked at McDonnell he was on the design team for the F-101 and the F4. That is quite a list including some timeless classics. Again welcome..
