So I went to Cabelas today, and after nearly pulling the trigger on a Wyndam Weaponry AR-15, the clerk starts pulling POF's out onto the shelf. Seeing as how I just sold my AR-10 upper (too heavy for what I wanted), I asked about the POF thinking I could get a possible replacement.

Long story short; I am now the proud new owner of a POF in .308 caliber. 14.5'' barrel, NP3 coating, the whole bit. No markups, no crazy scare prices, nothing. Between selling my upper and other things and a gift card, no money will come out of my pocket for it either!

I'm stoked. Does anyone else have one of these? It might not be your 'traditional' AR-10 I suppose...but it's light enough and I plan to hunt some with it. I can't wait.

Now I STILL have the complete CMMG lower off of my last AR-10...time to look at building it :)
