Looking at the Remington website I notice all the current R25s have a 20 inch barrel. Did Remington ever offer a shorter or longer barrel length on the R25?

If they ever did it must have been a very limited offering. Everything I'm seeing from the used market to old posts and reviews says 20 inch barrel.

A 20" barrel can always be cut or replaced.

As the DPMS and Bushmaster are also made by the Cerebrus group in the same facility, you might look at their offerings if you are looking for a different barrel length from the same manufacturer.
