I got through about 15 seconds of the vid before I gagged. Carlin was a parody of himself. The idea that anyone "really runs" this country is ludicrous: If they do they must be playing it for laughs.

For me Carlin was funny like a fart. It made me giggle when I first heard him but after I got to know him my stomach turned some.

Charlie..Sorry you don't find the humor in his presentation...
whether it be personal issues or the man him self.

To each their own...My point being that I posted this..was the "Truth" of the matter...Carlin...R.I.P.....made some valid points...that was the SOUL purpose in presenting this video...again..if you were offended...then ...Well..the rest will be kept "Private" as not to stain this site.........IF you care to deliberate the post....but there is "another" ....

I wasn't offended. I've run into Carlin many times, first as a DJ here in NWLA. He comes off all deep and insightful, but never particularly impressed me.

I hope that I did not offend you. Everybody's got an opinion. I think if you look deeper into Carlin's shtick you'll see that there's less there than meets the eye.

This year alone America’s different bodies of government across the country as well as the Feds have past over 40,000 laws and ordnances.

The new worst of the worst was the 2011 Nation Defense Authorization Act, which allows the military to detain American citizens without the right to a trial or attorney, and without bring formal charges against them.

The 2011 NDAA has more power over American citizen’s lives compared to the Constitutions of the United States, which use to be the Supreme Law of the Land.

Our government school system is currently ranked below several third world nations and all European nations for the brightest and most intelligent kids the world has to offer.

The only issue that George Carlin joked about many years ago which I disagree with is the subject of politicians because they’re the true 1%ers. They are legally allowed insider trading information from the Federal Reserve and other life time professional benefits second–to-none after only one term served. Our politicians ignore enforcing illegal immigration laws that allow industries to offer lower wages across the board because the politicians make huge stock market profits from cheaper labor and to kill two birds with one stone, it’s easier to socialize poverty in general.

They say "you can admire someone but once you meet them if may differ"...I guess that may hold true for you...I never met him..but as I stated..it was what he was saying that I held in high regard.....He could take a "True" situation of life and make me laugh about it then think...As with most comedians he could speak his mind and not be labled on the FBI's watch list as a threat...
"The Point Being" is what he said...."We Do Not OWN THIS COUNTRY.....We the workers are subject to those with "Money and Power"...so they think.,...if we the workers take a "Holiday"....so to speak...then the corporations would shut down...and millions would be lost...
The Laws and Documents of this country read as follows..."We The People"....
not WE the Government.....It is time to take up the Voice of just That....
