Gusy at Armalite - You have to address this it is going viral on the net right NOW!!! It is Monday Feb 18th at 1 pm. This is growing by the minute on other blogs.

This response is being posted all over the blogs regarding Armalite and the response one of your reps sent out. It appears that one of the individuals that supports stopping the sales to states like NY or CA or any state that goes on with this crazy trend to outdo each other towards total disarming of the US population should pay a price and that price should be that all manufacturers don't supply them with the same guns they want to ban. One of these individuals sent an email to your rep and in return this is his repsonse. Is this unreasonable to ask Armalite to support this effort and is this Armalite's position on this issue?




Dear concerned gun owner,


First of all I would like to say thank you for filling my email with all this spam email.

Second, I am not sure where you got this blanket email from to send out as spam, but please stop it.

Third, The manufacture is not the one you need to convince.

You need to convince the law enforcement agencies and the common people about their mistake in electing these officials and have them removed. Again NOT the manufacture.

You might want to get the full story first...

That is not the company stance.

What it came down to was asking the 200 or so people to stop sending the same email to the emails from the web site.

The response has no place as to where the company actually stands.

I AM TRYING TO GET THE FULL STORY. SO ARE ABOUT 300 OTHER POSTERS WITH 8000 READS SO FAR AND 7 PAGES LONG. Armalite is silent.

Spam email or not this needs to be addressed. It is going to hurt ARMALITE and they need to respond to this now. There is an effort by gun owners to halt this stupid craze of states trying to outdo each other on gun restrictions. The people are asking for support from ARMALITE. In response Pat just emailed about the spam. Get to the real issue. Will Armalite support the effort of not? The post over at AR15 has over 4,000 reads and 144 posts and it is growing by the minute.

A bad move on Pat if this is true. Supporters are looking for clarification, not accusing anyone. Can they please clarify? The original request for clarification was posted under the industry link for Armalite and it was deleted. People just want to have clarification before any movement of backlash occurs but it has to be quick.

FYI - I am a big supporter of Armalite. BIG! AND THAT IS WHY I AM ASKING FOR CLARIFICATION. PLEASE!

Armalite gives response. Thank you. EVERYONE is waiting to hear your official position and response to the states banning your firearms. Will you stop selling your products to any agency of a state that bans the sales of your firearms to civilians in that state? It is a war out here ..... whose side are you on?

If you are going to Come out swinging like this...then you should Present the LINKS...
So those Reading this Tread can "Access" what you are stating...
I also Support and Back ArmaLite...
But right now there is alot of People doing there Best to Demean and Subvert Gun companies out there...
As for ArmaLite "Clarifying" whether they do or do not support the issue...
Give it some time...You have to Remember that there is alot involved in companies making these types of Decisions...
Though we all know what is going on...coming out Swinging is not always the best course of Action....
So I ask...That you give them Time to Respond...in Accordance.

Coming into this late but what all the hype is about NippsDXer?

I don't see any problem's with Pat's response. If I had hundreds of emails spamming me I'd be pissed too. Speaking of proper channels if someone has a question for ArmaLite maybe they should contact ArmaLite's marketing department for a response. Not email sales.

The guy who posted that to ARF only has two posts on the site so everyone jumping in and rallying on that thread is about as productive as felling a tree on your house.

That thread should have been locked long ago just as this one is now!

I'm going to say my part and leave it at that. I don't work for or represent ArmaLite in anyway. Just a big fan of fine rifles.

Armalites response to the spam is worlds better than what I would have done.
Secondly, there is NO reason what so ever to try to pin down a business on a decision such as this. They may have no choice if they are tied down to long standing contracts that have been keeping their doors open. A manufacturer staying in business is preferable to seeing them take a dive on principle. Hostess anyone? It is not as simple as it sounds, there are jobs on the line and a lot more to consider. What happens to a business and it's people if they do take a stand and the Bans go through anyway leaving them stuck with millions tied up in inventory that can't be sold because they burned their bridges? Those good folks at Armalite are feeling the sting of all this nonsense, and worried sick if they will still have jobs and be able to pay the bills or provide their families a Christmas if the bans go through. Vote with your dollar by supporting your interest, place your order, get on the waiting list and drive on. Right now that really is the BEST thing you can do to support the industry. If you are caught up on the politics, you are emailing the wrong people. Unless something has changed and no one told me, ArmaLite does not employ elected politicians.

I do think it is a good thing to see manufacturers stand up like this. I do agree with those that have done it and support them. I would like to see All of them unite and tell the .gov to kiss it where it stinks, but I'm not going to go all chicken little like a limp little arfcommer, it happens to be a much more complex decision than that. Those government ties are the bread and butter of the firearms industry and without them, top tier dogs like KAC, Rem, Colt, etc. would be tar paper shack operations. That is just the raw fact of it.

Armalite is running their machines and employees around the clock to keep up with US. That's you and me they are busting ass to accommodate and that says to me all I need to know. Armalite is with us. Just think, the time it takes them to deal with all the BS email about "issues" every day, a few thousand mags could have been shipped instead.
