The primary purpose of the 2nd amendment is to serve as a layer of protection against potential usurpation by the state beyond powers appointed by the people. The risk of usurpation has been demonstrated several times in other nations around the world in the last 200 years. It's one thing to debate about how to maintain this civilian capacity in the safest possible way. It is another thing entirely to seek to abolish it.

There is a petition out there to have that British Jack-Ass deported along with several others. Why in GOD'S name would CNN allow that British Horses Ass to sit on national television and debate points on OUR constitution is beyond me OTHER than his blabbermouth rhetoric is good for ratings and pushing the agenda that THEY believe in.

He is not even FROM here and it was HIS country that the 2nd Amendment and the Constitution were originally designed for to help us protect ourselves FROM.

And now he wants to sit there like a smug ASS and say there is no threat of tyranny or invasion here in America when a vast percentage of the WORLD would love to come in and take us over if they thought they had a shot and our own government is TRYING to make us 100% dependent on them so we will bow to ANYTHING they want. It's all just a massive downward spiral and if they take our guns and rifles, it will only accelerate what they are ALL denying is happening...
