No if those guys have guns and they are shooting they get what they deserve, a shallow grave in the desert.

see that is a union talking so it makes all the sense in the world. union don't want dues payers kill then they can't pay dues and if they get hurt the union is a feared they may have to paid out on the insurance that the union big wigs are stealing money from. It's not because they concern about the well being and safety of the personel. The member a union looses the less people to give them money to steal so they can buy new big pick-up truck to give to office girls

Sorry I tend to go on about unions they have out lived there usefulness. just saying

I get the idea you have some first hand experience with unions. It might be getting off topic but you've reminded me of a union experience I had in St. Louis. I went their with four guys from home to seal cracks in the road. We hired 6 guys from the local union hall to help us. The best day we had in the first two weeks was a 1/4 mile, we needed .8 to turn a profit. I replaced the 6 local union guys with one more guy from home starting the third week. By the end of that week we were getting an average of 2.2 miles a day, average and with 5 less men! The Sheriff showed up the next week and shut us down till we all paid $600 to join the local union. I had ignored the three union reps that had visited me earlier in the week to explain that we had to join, three guys, all over 6 foot and 250 pounds climbed out of a big Lincoln town car and got in my face. Even the local tar supplier stopped selling to me so I had to drive 80 miles to get tar. It seemed more like organized crime than a group set up to help people get a fair deal.
This was not my first union experience or my last but they were all quite similar, must just be me.
