Been wanting one of these bad boys for years. Well, I finally talked myself into pulling the metaphorical trigger.
I can get one new with a Leupold MK4 for just a little more than what I have invested in my .300wm. The only difference is I'm spending the cash all at once and not over a year. When tax time rolls back around I will use my refund as the deposit for my FFL. Can't wait to get that refund.
As you could probably tell, I'm a single guy with no kids hahaha
What caliber and options are you going for?
Regardless of the details I'm sure it will be a sweet shooter.
Looking forward to that range report
They offer .338LM, .300wm, and .308. I think I will stick with the .338 for a while as the barrel swaps are pretty pricey ($1500 if I recall correctly). But I will most likely get a .300wm barrel to go along with it down the road. It will be interesting to see how it compares to my tricked out win mag in terms of accuracy. Before I sent it to get a match barrel installed it was a tac driver.
I thought you said you had a GTO . Just kidding! I had a black 1969 GTO. 400 cid, Turbo 400 trans and tri-power. You got me all excited. Almost as much as that Barrett did.
Hey, this new age GTO (aka Holden Monaro) is pretty peppy at 400hp/tq! I wish I had a 69 Judge. Also had and sold a 79' T/A. Nothing special, just a 403 olds. Wished it was a Pontiac 400 in Bandit trim. Maybe one day I'll get one so I can call myself a cool kid lol
That's a lot of torque. That thing should kick butt! If only I had some of the cars I sold years ago. Who would of known they would be worth anything today. I now have a 1966 Mustang GT convertible. I am glad I didn't have it years ago. It would be in the bone yard today.
