I've been reading a lot about the new Ruger SR 762 including some discussions on other sites. I'm pretty interested in it, given Ruger's reputation and the fact that it is a gas piston system.

It seems it will likely be a fine weapon and I want one.

From what I can tell, some early released versions appear to have cycling issues. People send them back and Ruger customer service seems to be excellent.

I believe I am going to wait awhile for more product to get out on the shelves based on these early comments. Pricing ought to be better too.

I have never handled one. The only two comments that I recall are "nose heavy" and "heavy". It certainly has some promise.
