. This company in Montana is now making a great looking AR in 300 win mag. I got to handle one at the nra convention and it weighed pretty much the same as my AR10T. Available in the 4th quarter of this year, you can get the standard version for $3252 or the match version for $4733. It looked like an SASS except with collapsable stock.
Specs of the match version:
7075 aluminum billet matched receiver set, nickel boron coated upper receiver, lower receiver andodized to MIL-A- 8625, black.
nickel boron coated bolt carrier group
2 piece free float quad rail handguard
magpul UBR 6 position buttstock
quad rail adjustable gas block
Hogue grip with battery management system
DRK compensator
KNS anti-rotational pins
Timney 4lb solid trigger
Norgon Ambi Mag Catch
Ambi Safety selector
wt 9.2 lb, unloaded with no magazine, optics or sites ( The one I handled weighed 12 lb with a 5x15 x nightforce scope, 20 rd mag and bipod
41.5 in with stock collapsed, 45 in extended.
choice of 18 in or 22 in barrel
less than one inch moa on the match gun. The rep said they were able to get 3 shot groups down to .25 moa occasionally(he was trying to sell me a gun).
Other calibers available will include 30-06, 270 win, and 338 winchester.
I'd like to see what the .300wm can do. The pics look nice and they do offer up on the features. Did you get a look at how they are getting a belted magnum to stack in a auto loader magazine?
