Any Gun Smiths with knowledge of barreling the AR-10 thread pitch etc. This will be my first Ar barrel job and would love to connect with an experienced "AR" smith.
I think the extension threads are class 3 1 X 16 .. but I'm not 100% sure since I've never done a custom blank for an AR10. I suggest calling armalite for the exact specs.
Awesome. I was expecting it to be either a custom caliber project or a long ass barrel. Be sure and post pics if you can, I'd like to follow along. I haven't done any real smithing in near 8 years and I'm getting the itch to grind or turn something. It's a sickness really.
Well things are going good almost done. I seem to have lost my go gauge so ordered another just if I can locate the other , man i'm about .005 from being done too, shit!
