What is it about the AR-10 that appeals to you? Would you primarily be target shooting? hunting? competition?

Mostly I'm looking at the AR 10 for hunting, or as my brother says, "If it's in my yard and looks either threatning or tasty, I'll shoot it."

Nice, where I used to live I followed the same motto. Now that I'm married and living in the burbs launching 168-grain rounds across the back 1/4 acre doesn't give the neighbors a good feeling.
