New guy here, I am an avid shooter and reloader. Just getting into the AR world. I have an Armalite AR-10 and Am looking for an Alexander Arms Beowulf .50. This is a great site. I have been reading it and gathering infor. I am also looking into purchasing several supressors. Look forward to contributing as well as learning.
For just getting in to ARs you certainly went straight to the top of the food chain.
Did you really start with an AR-10 right away or do you have an AR-15 as well?
Your mention of the .50 Beowulf certainly sounds top notch.
Have you considered instead of that looking at getting a .450 Marlin?
It would be a good compliment to your AR-10 lower and you can use the mags you already have to boot.
No AR-15, I am a firm believer bigger is better as well as buy the best you can the first time and it will last a life time. I bought my 10 off of a very good friend of mine about a year ago. He is one of those guys that only buys the best of the best. I have not looked into the 450 Marlin. I shot one of the 50 beowulfs and fell in love with it. I will definatly look into the 450 though.
I am looking into a 15 though, I am in the debate of a piston gun or a gas gun right now. I shot a completly custom armalite with a can on it and it is a great shooter. I like to shoot for accuracy and I am findings bulk ammo ain't the way to go for that LOL. I have shot the federal american eagle 308 and the winchester 7.62 and those things suck at 100 yds. I have to find a good optic for the 10 also, right now I have an elcheapo on it. Works decent but has its days when it won't adjust properly. Thanks for the welcome and a point at the 450 marlin.
