looking to get my first ar10. Im looking for a rifle that shoots 800 yards accurately, .5 moa. want to stay around or under $2,500. what should i be looking for? thanks
Consistant .5 MOA is going to be a struggle for a semi-auto gas gun (Lots of reciprocating mass increases vibrations in the rifle that opens up groups.) Also at that level of precision, ammo and optics are key to achieving that sort of accuracy. With $2500 to spend I'd look at a Noveske or KAC, but that would leave you scant little for optics.
Nice post Lebb, Agreed I'd (personally) save my money and put it in a bolt gun with some great optics for that kind of shooting. Just giving options! Not going there mantawolf and I'm not a sales person sticking stuff on this web site, but thanks for giving a penny for your thoughts Just a little biased and supporting the site and ArmaLite as they offer a wide range of quality rifles
