I went to the range today with the AR-10T! I was sighting it in a 200 with a new optic. I fired aprox. 10 rounds till they called a seize fire to check targets. I dropped the mag and unchambered the round. The brass ejected and I noticed powder falling from within barrel. I was firing Federal 168 grain match bullets,FACTORY!!!! Any explanations or suggestions? I don't want this to happen in field for DAMN sure!
Not knowing the whole story, but I am taking a big guess here...
From what it sound like is that the chamber is really tight in tolerance and the bullet is right there at the lands. (check the bullet for indentations) This would have held the bullet enough that when you extracted the cartridge it pulled it out.
How many rounds do you have through the rifle all together?
What type of break in did you do to the rifle?
