Hi
I was thinking about buying a brass deflector for my AR-10. Any one have any luck with one. I wanrt to save the finish where the case hits.
Thanks
Bob
I don't have one, but if I shot around others I think that I would get one. After looking at them on Brownell's web site they seem to work well. For me just to protect the finish, I would just put a piece of electrical tape on the rifle where the brass hits. But what can I say, I'm cheap.

That is what I was going to suggest....maybe double it up....

That's what I did and seem to work Ok although the elc. tape seem to be kind of soft or getting gooie and moving around, cleaned it up and trying a differant brand! Thinking I should have used velcro might damper some of the shock oh well next time. Wonder if thats a million dollar idea:woohoo:
